is a Dutch-style bakery founded in 2014 to bring the authentic taste of home baking to Toronto.
One of the key factors in Pluska Artisan Bread's success has been its ethos that bread taste best when they’ve been freshly baked using exactly the same ingredients and techniques as those used in home baking. Pluska offers a unique delivery service to insure its customers get freshly baked items. The structure comes from a vegetable CSA (community supported agriculture) program. Pluska comes from the Friesian (dialect of Dutch) word for the heel of the bread and is the term I grew up using.
